Rio+20 Declaration on Justice, Governance and Law for Sustainability

The Rio+20 Conference took place last week in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, marking 40 years since the Stockholm Conference in 1972 and 20 since the Rio Conference in 1992. Before it, the World Congress on Justice, Governance and Law for Environmental Sustainability, attended by senior judges, chief prosecutors and other senior lawyers from all nations, made this declaration:
